OTFs are easy to operate in one hand, with a simple slide mechanism that lets you easily push the blade open. The 2-inch D2 steel blade provides excellent edge retention and is a suitable size for just about anything save fighting off a bear. And because it s an OTF, the knife still maintains an ergonomic blade-to-handle ratio. The handle is made from Grivory, a remarkably strong yet incredibly lightweight alternative to metal that puts the KatanaX in the featherweight class at less than 1 ounce in weight.

You won t find a pocket clip here, and that s by design. The knife is meant to stow away effortlessly into any pocket, bag, drawer, or shelf without getting caught. The included lanyard helps you retrieve it and provides some extra grip when in use.
