In order to be able to pull stuck shock absorber units out of the steering knuckle clamping bore or suspension joints out of the lower suspension joint mounting without damage, it is absolutely necessary to widen the clamping bore properly with an expanding tool. The expansion tool set enables both the suspension strut clamping bore and the lower suspension joint mount on the front axle to be expanded professionally.
