  • The PRO-LOGIX PL6850 is specifically designed to address the need for high current stable power for advanced module reprogramming on late model ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles. With a maximum output of 120A for an unlimited period of time, it can provide an optimal electrical environment for reprogramming on even the most demanding vehicle systems. This mode supports OE flashing power supply requirements and allows operator control of target system voltage, from 13.1-14.9 Volts 12V mode / 26.2-29.8 Volts 24V mode in 0.1V increments. PRO-LOGIX precision keeps voltage ripple to a minimum less than 100mV to deliver clean power that will not disrupt the reprogramming event. It also features rapid load responsive RLR technology to minimize voltage drop when system demand spikes.

In addition, the PL6850 is a superior heavy-duty battery charger to service the multi-battery packs found in todays Over-the-Road vehicles, implements and agricultural equipment. With a maximum charging rate of 120A 12V, it is able to bring even heavily discharged multi-battery packs back to full charge quickly and safely. On todays tractor-trailers, it is not unusual to encounter battery packs at 80 percent, 70 percent, even 60 percent state of charge. For a 4-battery pack utilizing 150 amp hour batteries, 60 percent state of charge means that a total of 240 amp hours need to be replenished to return the pack to full charge. In this instance, the 120A charging mode reduces your bulk charging time from 3 to 2 hours, a 33 percent improvement vs. an 80A charger. During a regularly scheduled service event, this time savings means faster turnover in the bay.
