- To replace the Soldering Tip, use a Phillips (#1) screwdriver to remove each screw from the soldering iron by turning counterclockwise
- Guide the old Soldering Tip out of the Transformer Assembly mounting posts, then guide the prong ends of the new Soldering Tip into the Transformer Assembly mounting posts
- Carefully tighten the Screws over the Transformer Assembly mounting posts. Make sure that the Screws fit straight into the slots. Do not overtighten.
