The data rate transmits up to 5 times faster than the original CAN data. This allows more data to be sent between modules required on newer vehicles when diagnosing ECUs and programming new modules.This adapter simply replaces the standard OBD2 Connector on the AutoProPAD main data cable. No other hardware is required.
